What’s this?
My patio swing has anthropomorphized. It watches me, taunts me, snarls at me, and smirks at me.
UUUUU-glee thing, right?
“You gonna stain me?” It asks. “Right. You just try that.”
I’ve been afraid of that snarling beast for over a year now. I’m not sure why. I suppose it’s just tedious. There’s like 9,000 screws holding that thing together, and I’d have to unscrew every one of them. Not to mention pressure wash the thing, apply the stain, wait, apply more stain, wait, apply more stain, wait…
But I did.
And now my snarly beast is a redwood-colored princess.
She put up a good fight, but she likes me now.
My hobbies keep me sane, even when they’re driving me in-sane.
Wow, it looks great! And good job remembering before pictures I love all the little things you do to make our yard and home look fantastic. π
It’s just sad it took so long!
AMAZING job!!! I’m intimidated by projects a fraction of the effort and time. It looks Beautiful! Well done, especially in light of recent family happenings. π
Thanks! Gotta take a break from little ones eventually π
